34 million litre irrigation lagoon near Stonehenge

This was the largest project in the country of 2010. We were tasked by K & A Groundworks Ltd to line a new-build part-in and part-out of the ground 100m x 80m x 6.5m deep, 34 million litre irrigation lagoon near Stonehenge.

This was a zero waste project and a licence to extract 22.7 million litres over three months was granted with a further 8 million litres could be harvested from a milking barn roof.

Winter 2010 was one of our recent, coldest winters on record. Our coldest temperature on site in the morning was -6.5 Celsius. The Firestone EPDM system still works at this temperature!
